- This is the Authors Edition, each one signed and numbered. This set is number 304 ½ of 1000 copies for most volumes. Each volume signed by the author. Volume FOUR is from numbered set #539. Volumes 17, 19 & 20 are #305 instead of 304 ½.
- Each volume is bound in 3/4 crushed leather embossed with title and decorative motif in gold gilt along the spine. Top of pages also in gold gilt. Solid colored endpapers in good condition and match those on the front/back covers. Some spine bumping and leather is shelf worn. The top of spine on Volume 1 is torn slightly on one side.Light foxing throughout all volumes, as expected with this age. Hand-rolled paper edges are rough cut.
- Each of the twenty volumes measures approximately 11½" x 8 x 2".
