- Each volume is bound in 3/4 dark maroon leather, embossed with title and Scottish thistles in gold gilt along the spine. Top of pages also in gold gilt. Hand rolled and cut papers. Marbled endpapers in good condition.
- Each of the five volumes measures 7 x 4½" x 1".
- Inside the book is in Good Condition. Binding is very tight and no marks or tears to any pages. Mild foxing to most page edges. Tissue covers intact for engravings with heaver foxing on engraving pages. No loose pages to out knowledge.
